OCIA: Creation-Kergyma

Parish Picnic

Please join us for our annual Parish Picnic in Sun, Sept 29th from 4-6:30pm. Men’s Club will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, buns, & condiments. Please bring a side or dessert to share along with your own place setting. PCCW will have water, lemonade, & iced tea to drink. Children are welcome to participate in the  Saints Parade around 5:30pm and live music by Wes Stebbins!

St. Teresa Parish Bazaar

Please save the date for our Annual Parish Bazaar on Sun, Nov. 10th! Come enjoy games, silent auction, great food & even better company!

Bazaar Raffle Tickets

Be watching for the Bazaar Raffle Tickets which will be ready soon for pick up. You will find them in the pew, at the side entrances, & in the vestibule of the church. Early Bird date for sold books of tickets is Nov 3rd. Tickets can be put in the collection basket or dropped off at the rectory.

Plea to Pick up Dishes

Stop by Kaczmarek Hall and pick up any dishes you may have here. Any items not picked up by Sept 29th will be donated to the Thrift Shop.

Youth Altar Society

The Youth Altar Society will meet on Wed, Oct 10th from 3:20-4:30pm in Kaczmarek Hall (West, kitchen side). All young women grades 5-8 interested in joining are welcome! Please click HERE for more information and to register. Girls must be registered prior to attending the meeting.

Let’s Keep our Church Beautiful!

We recently had our lighting in the landscaping and flower bed areas around the church repaired. To keep our grounds looking nice, please keep children out of these areas to help avoid further breakage of our lighting.

Pink Sisters’ Vocations Holy Hour

The Pink Sisters’ Holy Hour for Vocations will be Fri, Oct 4th at 7;15pm in the Pink Sisters’ Chapel, 1040 S Cotner Blvd. Singing will be led by the Cathedral Children’s Choir. Please help us pray for good vocations for our Diocese.

Knights of Columbus Membership

All men are invited to join the Knights of Columbus Council #833. To join, fill out the simple online application by clicking HERE. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Registration for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program for children ages 3-12 will begin Aug 3rd on the parish website under Faithful Teaching. Children at St. Teresa School, PreK-2nd grade will attend during the school day. Sessions meet weekly during the school year. Children from all parishes are welcome.

CSS Needs  Your Help!

Catholic Social Services is asking for your help! We are partnering with the Knights of Columbus at St. Teresa’s to collect food & monetary donations to support our food pantry. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to CSS Food Market AND include your parish name in the memo. Any food & monetary donations can be made during September 1-30. We cannot accept dented, opened, or expired food. We are most in need of the following items: Oatmeal, Syrup, Pancake Mix, Sugar, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Condiments (Ketchup, Salsa, etc.), and Ramen.

Rosary Drive

Do you have extra rosaries at home that are in good condition? Please consider donating them to our Rosary Drive! Throughout the month of September, the Legion of Mary will be collecting usable rosaries in a basket in the vestibule of the church. Thank you for your donations!

Calling all Singers!

The St. Teresa’s 10:00 a.m. choir is starting up this year and is welcoming new members of all voice parts. We are in special need of tenors and bases. We sing every Sunday at the 10:00 AM Mass from September to May, along with Christmas Midnight Mass and the Holy Week Liturgies. Practices are held every Thursday evenings from 7:30-9pm in the choir loft beginning Thurs, Sept 12th. Chipotle Fundraiser

St. Teresa School Family will be sponsoring a Chipotle fundraiser on Wed, Oct 2nd from 5-9pm. St. Teresa School will receive 25% of sales for all orders using the order code. Please use the order code GFQAJGR when ordering either online or in person. Using Scrip will multiply the school’s fundraising efforts. Scrip can be purchased at the school or take your order to the rectory and we will get it to the school for you.

St. Teresa School Nurse’s Office

St. Teresa School Nurse’s Office is in need of regular and liquid Tylenol and liquid Ibuprofen. Donations can be dropped off at the school during school hours.

Thunderbolt Youth Basketball

The 2024 Pre-Season Skill Development Sessions will be led by the current Bolts coaching staff & players on Sunday nights: Sept 22, 29, Oct 6, 13. Time:
