CSS Needs Your Help!
Catholic Social Services is asking for your help! We are partnering with the Knights of Columbus at St. Teresa’s to collect food & monetary donations to support our food pantry. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to CSS Food Market AND include your parish name in the memo. Any food & monetary donations can be made during September 1-30. We cannot accept dented, opened, or expired food. We are most in need of the following items: Oatmeal, Syrup, Pancake Mix, Sugar, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Condiments (Ketchup, Salsa, etc.), and Ramen.
Rosary Drive
Do you have extra rosaries at home that are in good condition? Please consider donating them to our Rosary Drive! Throughout the month of September, the Legion of Mary will be collecting usable rosaries in a basket in the vestibule of the church. In October, we will have a Rosary Giveaway. Thank you for your donations!
Calling all Singers!
The St. Teresa’s 10:00 a.m. choir is starting up this year and is welcoming new members of all voice parts. We are in special need of tenors and bases. We sing every Sunday at the 10:00 AM Mass from September to May, along with Christmas Midnight Mass and the Holy Week Liturgies. Practices are held every Thursday evenings from 7:30-9pm in the choir loft beginning Thurs, Sept 12th. STAGE Auditions
STAGE will hold auditions for The Custodian of Art, Sept 13-15, St. Teresa Kaczmarek Hall. Based on St. John Paul II’s letter to artists, this production is a thoughtful & humorous musical that teaches a beautiful lesson about the purpose of art. Auditions for students aged 8-15. Thrift Shop Moving
After 9 years at our current location, St. Teresa Thrift Shop is moving to 366 N 48th St, Lower Level. The Thrift Shop closed its doors at the current location following the free merchandise day on Fri, Aug 16th, 4-8pm. Donations are not being accepted during our move. Our Grand Opening at the new location will be Friday, Sept 6th, 4-8pm and Sat, Sept 7, 9am-3pm. Donations will be accepted once the new store opens. We hope you will continue to support us by donating and shopping with us at our new location.

Youth Altar Society

Back to School Night
St. Teresa School’s Back to School Night on Tues, Aug 27th at 7pm. The evening will include our first School Family Meeting, teacher introductions, and an opportunity to hear your students’ teachers explain a little about the school year.
Pop Ice Sales
St. Teresa Student Council will be selling pop ices after school on Tues, Aug 27th and Thurs, Aug 29th. Cost: 50 cents each. Don’t forget to bring your change and enjoy a cool treat after school.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Registration for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program for children ages 3-12 will begin Aug 3rd on the parish website under Faithful Teaching. Children at St. Teresa School, PreK-2nd grade will attend during the school day. Sessions meet weekly during the school year. Children from all parishes are welcome.

Healing Hearts Grief Program
Healing Hearts will be offering a grief program from Sept 17-Oct 22nd at John XXIII Diocesan Center, 7-9pm. This is a six-week program to help Catholics navigate through the grieving process after experiencing the loss of a loved one. Sessions led by Sandy Danek & family therapist, Holly Burns. The Feast of St. Monica is Aug 27th. The Masses & Tears devotion is based on the life of St. Monica, focused on providing parents with encouragement & support as they pray for the return of their children to the practice of the Catholic Faith.
