Serving on the altar is a worthy ministry open to boys in fifth grade and older. Altar servers play an important role in helping the faithful enter into the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass by their reverent actions that show respect and love for the Eucharist. Click here if you're interested in joining our Altar Server Ministry!

Training/Schedule

• An initial training once a year (usually in May), is held for new altar servers
• Practice for special Masses, such as Easter and Christmas, are also required.
• An Altar Server email group is set up for parents of altar servers and altar servers in high school. Once a server is trained, parents can request to be added to this email group. This is a great way to email all servers (or parents of younger servers) if a sub is needed.
