At St. Teresa, we long to fill every member of our flock with a fervent desire to know Christ better and to enrich their understanding of what it means to be a part of the universal Catholic Church. Our faith formation programs nurture the minds and hearts of our parish family, so that together we can be prepared to live our lives as true disciples of Jesus. We invite you to delve into Scripture, deepen your knowledge of the Catechism, and draw closer to each other by participating in one of these faith formation programs.
Catholic Education
A Catholic education is a treasured gift that positively prepares students for college, career, and life. The Mission of the Catholic School System of the Diocese of Lincoln is to form students spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically, in partnership with parents, and in harmony with the specific gifts given by God to each student. At St. Teresa, we offer Catholic education for students from Pre-K to Grade 8. Registration for current school families and parishioners opens mid-January and opens to the public in February.

Religious Education
Our parish offers religious education for students in Grades 1-5 who do not attend St. Teresa Catholic School. Classes meet Wednesdays at 4:00pm. Through instruction in scripture, tradition, the virtues, and family values, we assist in preparing your child for a life in Christ and service to others by living the Gospel message. Preparation for First Eucharist and First Reconciliation are normally offered in 2nd Grade. For more information, contact Terry Priester at 402-730-3518.

People of all abilities have unique gifts to share in the life of the Church…and long to share their faith with others. This special program helps parishioners with developmental disabilities form a personal relationship with Jesus, deepen their faith, and form meaningful friendships as they are incorporated into the liturgical and sacramental life of the parish. Classes take place on Mondays at 7:00pm. For more information, contact Shannon Komecher at 402-430-0681.
GodTeens for High School Students
Godteens at St. Teresa fosters spiritual growth and unity among all St. Teresa high school students. Students meet on Wednesday evenings for prayer, lessons, and social time. Each month we offer a large group activity. Past activities include hayrides, bonfires, movie nights, laser tag, bowling, and mini-golf. We also plan spiritual activities such as Adoration, Lenten and Advent services, and opportunities for the sacrament of penance.

RCIA
Becoming Catholic
RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a journey of discovery for unbaptized adults, baptized Christians considering becoming Catholic, or anyone wanting to learn more about the Faith. Through inquiry, the company of other Catholics, and the care of our pastors, the fullness of Catholic tradition is shared in a friendly, nurturing environment. Though many inquirers become Catholic, there is no obligation. Classes meet Mondays from 7-8:30pm.
