About This Ministry
St. Teresa’s Men’s Club is a service ministry that helps build parish community and maintain our parish buildings and grounds. Every adult male, registered in the parish, is welcome to participate. This ministry coordinates the many behind the scenes activities needed to make St. Teresa parish and school look and operate at their best. The Men’s Group coordinates the spring and fall clean-up of our parish grounds, sells advertising for the bulletin, serves several meals at parish functions, and organizes snow removal for the church and school.
Past projects implemented by the St. Teresa's Men's Club include:
- Replacing the bleachers in the school gym
- Providing and placing a projector and screen in the gym
- Installing netting on the south side of school playground area
- Construction of the Sisters' garage
- Resurfacing the church parking lot
- Planning and working with contractors to re-concrete the courtyard
- Installing a TV in Kaczmarek Hall
- Helping with School library renovation and ramp in school hallway
- Power washing the buildings
- Insulating the convent attic
- Many demolition projects including removing the stage and some walls at school
- Preparing for the convent remodel by removing kitchen cabinets
- Painting classrooms and bathrooms at school
- Painting and making repairs at the church rental properties
- Removing old and installing new handrails at school and outside church
- Installed a bike rack and benches at church and school
- Providing vehicles and manpower to move donated office equipment
- Moving the Thrift Store inventory and shelves to its current location
- Moving all the pews out of church during remodeling
Ongoing projects include:
- Mulching church landscaping
- Transplanting flowers
- Trimming shrubs and tree branches
- Cleaning gutters
- Assisting with Christmas decorations
- Annually moving essential items for the Marian Mass
The Men's Club sponsors several social events to help build and bond our parish community:
- grilling hamburgers and hot-dogs for the annual parish picnic
- a spaghetti dinner at the annual Parish Bazaar
- the Fat Friday game night before Mardi Gras to kick-off Lent
- a Mother's Day breakfast for the Christian Mothers Group
- a ping pong competition
- cornhole game night
- weekly open Gym basketball
- a non-competitive summer golf league.
Financial Assistance and Support
The Men’s Group provides partial financial assistance for registered males to attend spiritual retreats at the Good Counsel Retreat House, contributes to Boy Scout service projects, purchases sporting equipment and uniforms for St. Teresa School, contributes to the Pius X Catholic School post-prom event, and contributes to Catholic Social Services fundraisers.

Meeting Schedule
Second Wednesday of every month at 7: 30 p.m. (while school is in session)
Meetings begin by praying the Rosary in the church
