King's Men

The King’s Men is an organization of Catholic men, 18 years and older, united to promote Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament at the Holy Spirit Sisters’ Adoration Chapel. These Sisters are fondly referred to as the “Pink Sisters” because of the rose color of their habits. King’s Men members are asked to make a weekly visit, if possible, to the Blessed Sacrament at the Pink Sisters’ Chapel. The ministry encourages men to pray and to further develop their prayer life. The Pink Sisters have a special bond with St. Teresa parish, since their convent is located in the parish boundaries. However, these cloistered Sisters open their chapel for the spiritual benefit of anyone who wishes to make a visit to Our Lord. Although the Sisters are enclosed in the cloister, they greet guests though an open grill-work in a room for that purpose during special events. The Pink Sisters help many to deepen their prayer life, as well as pray for the intentions of those who leave prayer requests with them. The Chapel’s beauty and silence help every visitor be immersed in prayer and the love of God; thus enriched, each person can go out to share God’s love with everyone they meet in life.
