About This Ministry

Lectors are male adults from the parish that are chosen by the priest from people who have a pleasant voice and who are not afraid to stand in front of people to reverently proclaim the Word of God. Lectors are scheduled based on each person’s schedule and Mass preference.

Training/Schedule

Lectors are trained through the Diocese of Lincoln and installed by the Bishop at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln.
Spiritual formation and fellowship: First Saturday of each month, 7 a.m. Mass at the Pink Sisters Chapel.
