About This Ministry
The St. Francis Food Pantry is operated and funded by Catholic Social Services of Southern Nebraska. The pantry provides meals to more than 1,300 families every year provides and offers families and individuals the opportunity to select perishable and non-perishable food items once per month. Volunteers accompany clients as they walk through and select the items that meet their dietary and nutritional needs. Meat, dairy products, and fresh fruits and vegetables are offered as they become available.
To Request Assistance
Please call 402-327-6200 Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. You will be placed on hold in the order that your call is received. Calls are taken on a first-come first-served basis until all pantry requests are filled. Please bring your Service Point card or one form of identification with you when you come to pick-up your food pantry.
To Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to stock the shelves and accompany clients as they select their food items.
