Dear Parishioners,
On Friday, November 19, we celebrated the Solemnity of the Dedication of St. Teresa Church with a special school Mass. Our beautiful church was first dedicated on Nov. 19, 1952. That means that this sacred structure has been the place that this community has gathered to worship the Lord for 69 years! It’s a good opportunity to reflect upon the many faithful believers who have come before us to pray in this House of God.
A special thanks for all of your prayers and cards. Each card fills me with joy and I can truly sense being held up in prayer by you. I’m sharing in the daily sacrifice of the Mass that occurs each day in our parish as I’ve been celebrating Mass daily in my room for you and your intentions. I’m getting a bit better day by day.

Bazaar Thank You!
Thank you to everyone that helped with making our Annual Bazaar such a success this year!
From set-up to tear-down - your help was very appreciated! The gifts and talents that were displayed during the bazaar weekend were a beautiful witness to our parish and we are very thankful for you all.

Grounds Cleanup
Bring your rakes, muscle, and other tools, and join Men’s Club on Sat, Dec 4th, at 9am to clean up our campus and prep it for winter. Children are encouraged to come with their parents. Students: do you need service hours? This would be a great way to earn them!
Advent Giving Wreaths
As in past years, there will be Advent Giving Wreaths in the vestibule (Advent begins on the 28th). Please take time to look over the tags and decide what you are able to donate for those in need.
Holy Land Rosaries
As Christmas approaches and you are considering gifts for your loved ones, remember that we still have Holy Land Rosaries available at the parish office. We ask for a $10 donation per rosary, which is given to Christians in the Holy Land.
CCD & Godteens Coordinators Needed
We are still in need of coordinators for the CCD and Godteens programs. Responsibilities include creating the schedule, coordinating with the teachers or leaders and Fr. Beardslee, communicating with parents, and keeping track of enrollment. Contact the parish office if you are able to fill one of these volunteer roles.
Help Overturn Roe v. Wade
On December 1st, the US Supreme Court will hear arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson, a case that legal scholars on both sides of the aisle agree could overturn Roe v. Wade and send abortion policy back to the states.
Come out on December 1st and join thousands of pro-lifers across the country in support of this urgent campaign!

Seminarian of the Week: Matthew Schilmoeller is the son of Mark & Cindy Schilmoeller of North American Martyrs Parish. He is studying Theology 3 at North American College in Rome. Remember to pray for Matthew and for his formation.

Acolyte & Lector Diocesan Training
Men, are you interested in serving the Church as a Lector or Acolyte?
Training is offered through the diocese by Fr. Chris Eckrich. There are two sessions being offered—you need attend only one:
¨ Sat Jan 29th, 2022 from 2pm-4pm
¨ Sat Feb 12th, 2022 from 10am-Noon
Bishop Conley will install new Lectors and Acolytes on February 19, 2022 at Cathedral of the Risen Christ.

November is the Month of All Souls
- Intentions for All Souls have been placed on the altar and will be remembered at Masses during November. If you wish to add intentions, please write them down and turn them into the office; they will be added to the intentions on the altar.
- You may also write the names of the beloved dead in the parish Book of the Names of the Dead found on a podium near the baptismal font.
- Plenary Indulgence Guidelines for November 2021: In order to avoid crowds coming together and to allow participation for those staying at home, changes have been made to how one might receive a Plenary Indulgence in November 2021.
- These three conditions are the same: one must make a confession, receive communion, and pray for the Holy Father’s Intentions.
- Throughout the month of Nov (the days are not limited this year), one should visit a cemetery and pray for the dead OR visit a church and recite an Our Father and the Creed there. Again, these things may be done at any time during November.
- Lastly, the elderly, the sick, and all those who, for serious reasons, cannot leave their homes, will be able to obtain the Plenary Indulgence as they join spiritually with the Faithful, completely detached from sin and with the intention of complying as soon as possible with the three usual conditions (confession, communion, and praying for the Holy Father’s intentions) before an image of Jesus or Mary, recite prayers for the deceased (a rosary or chaplet, for example), or perform a work of mercy by offering to God the sorrows and hardships of their own lives.
Altar Society Prayer Line
An Altar Society Prayer Line has been established to lift up our prayers to God as a parish community. Leva Orationes Deo is Latin for lift up prayers to God. On December 6th at 7 pm please join Sandy Danek, founder of Healing Hearts Grief Ministry, as she explores "Grief and the Holidays" from a Catholic perspective. Advent Day of Recollection for Women Dec 11th 9am-3pm at St. Francis of Assisi Church. The day will include a Traditional Latin Mass, breakfast and lunch, prayer, and conferences by Fr.
