April 28, 2022: Weekend Update

Dear St. Teresa Parishioners,

Happy Easter! I love being Catholic because we always feast longer than we fast. All you who have been feasting: keep up the good work! And if you use the Holmes Lake Trail this summer to walk off the aforementioned feasting, I’ll see you there!  😉

There’s quite a bit going on, so don’t skip reading the announcements. The short of it: Charity & Stewardship Appeal, upcoming changes in pastoring, meetings, holy hours, and the list goes on. Details are below and I’ve attached the parish calendar for May. It is so wonderful to be back to normal! Deo Gratias!

May God bless you!

Parish Calendar for May

:: CURRENT, NEW, & UPDATED PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS ::

Queen of the May: Let us keep the treasured tradition of honoring Our Lady, the Mother of God, during the month of May with special  devotion. Ideas: have the children in your home help set up a “May Altar” of devotion to the Blessed Mother, adorned with flowers, candles, and   pictures of Our Lady. Make time for a family rosary, especially with children who have just received the sacraments of Initiation. Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, pray for us!

Charity & Stewardship Appeal

CSA is an annual appeal of the Diocese. Funds collected support diocesan ministries such as Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House, Catholic Social Services, the Tribunal, and the Family Life Office. For a complete list, visit the diocesan website HERE. Our parish’s goal is $80,460. If we meet our goal, we will receive 80% of this as a rebate. All funds in excess of our goal will be returned to us.

Early Bird Sundays: May 1st & 8th

Home Visits: May 15th

Volunteers are needed to help with home visits. Call Dave: 402-450-2996.
