Dear Saint Teresa Parishioners,
We want to share with you the details for +Mario’s visitation, rosary, and funeral.
On Friday, September 11th, an honor guard will bring +Mario from Butherus, Maser, & Love funeral home to the church. They will arrive just before 4pm. The urn will be placed in the church and people will be ushered through for visitation. People will not be allowed to stay in the church. Just before 7pm, all visitors who are not family or law enforcement will be asked to exit the church. At 7pm, the rosary will begin (again—only family and law enforcement will be allowed in the church building). Speakers will be outdoors on the North lawn near the Convent so that people can gather there to join in the prayer of the rosary. (Note: at the time of this message, Kaczmarek Hall is also being limited to family and law enforcement only.)
Two notes for Friday: if you have a Holy Hour Friday between 9am and 9pm, please do NOT attend that day. There will NOT be 5:30pm Mass on Friday.
Saturday, September 12th, the funeral Mass for +Mario will begin at 10am at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The arena will open to the public at 8:30. Also, a procession will begin at Butherus, Maser, & Love at 8:30am taking +Mario from Butherus, Maser, & Love to his funeral at the arena.
While media will not be allowed inside the arena, the city is providing a stream of the funeral to KOLN/KGIN (Channel 10/11) and KLKN-TV (Channel 8). Please check the internet and news sites for more information.
