February 17: Two Updates

Dear Saint Teresa Parishioners,

We hope this message finds you safe and warm!

Short & Sweet—two items:

  1. Ash Wednesday 8:15am Mass is now open to the public. We had reserved it for school children but (elementary) school has been canceled due to cold temperatures. So all are now welcome to attend 8:15am Mass on Ash Wednesday.

  1. In spite of the cold, we do plan to go forward with the St. Joseph Book Study meeting tonight at 7:00pm in the church, led by Father Hottovy.

The meeting will be live-streamed in the same way that our Masses are. Click HERE to go to our parish’s Facebook page and look for the post. Remember: you do not need to be a member of Facebook to view the page and/or the livestream. Note: this will be available for later viewing if you are unable to attend in person or view the livestream.

For our first book study this evening, we will be reading together the Introduction (pages 1-6) as well as Day 1 (page 13).  If you are unable to attend or follow us for the live-stream this evening, if you read these pages on your own today, you will be up-to-date with our group.

In the following days, read the daily readings (Days 2-8) and prayers in preparation for our next meeting next Tuesday.

St. Joseph, Protector of the Holy Church and Hope of the Sick,

Pray for us.
