:: CURRENT, NEW, & UPDATED PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS ::

Baptisms

Please welcome in baptism Oscar John Patrick Chambers, son of Connor and Kate. Congratulations!

Stolen Bikes

We have had a number of bikes stolen from the bike rack in the St. Teresa parking lot. There have also been reports of bikes stolen from homes in the area. Please lock up your bikes!

Dishes

There are dishes from the church kitchen and from the rectory (those providing meals to the priests) in the vestibule of the church. Anything not claimed by July 31st will be donated.

Missionary Cooperative Program

All the missionary priests who speak in our parishes have great needs for which they give the appeal. Some may ask for additional support, such as sponsoring a seminarian or religious for several months, in addition to their appeal at Mass. Our diocesan regulations do not allow this so that people will be able to support the needs of other missionaries who will give appeals in our parish in the future. There are so many needs to be met from so many different diocese and religious orders, and we must give each different group a fair chance to receive our support each year. Please be generous!

Eucharistic Scriptural Study

All are still welcome to join Deacon Ranil Weerackoon’s Scriptural study and discussion centered on the Eucharist, with an examination of the prefigurements of the Eucharist in the Old Testament, its institution by Christ in the New Testament, and its continuation and significance in the Mass and in our lives today. Remaining Class Schedule: Sun, July 23rd; Sun, July 30th.

Eucharistic Adoration

The following hours are still open for adoration. Please consider taking an hour. The link to the online sign-up HERE and is on our website:  Home>Authentic Worship>Adoration

Open Holy Hours:

Tues 5-6 and 6-7;

Popsicles on the Playground

Join us for our last Popsicles on the Playground on Sun, July 30th from 6-7pm! As a fun twist, we’re having a kickball game of parents against the 5th-8th grade students. Don’t want to play? No problem! Come to cheer on the teams & visit with our families. The used uniform closet will also be open during this time. Come pick out some school clothes if needed. Hope to see you there!

Defend School Choice

Recently, historic school choice legislation (LB753) was signed into law. This law will ensure that families, particularly low-income, have the ability to choose the best education for their children. Unfortunately, opponents are attempting to repeal this import law. If  you are approached to sign a petition to repeal LB753, please “DECLINE TO SIGN” the petition. Let’s “KEEP KIDS FIRST” and protect parental rights in education! For more information, click HERE.

St. Teresa School Registration Still Open
