Diocese of Lincoln Convocation of Priests

Bishop Conley is calling for Priest Convocation (a calling together of a group of people) for all the priests in the Lincoln Diocese from Mon, May 27^th–Thurs, May 30^th. This Convocation will allow the priests to learn more about wellness and health: physical, spiritual, and social. It will give the priest TIME: for socializing with their brother priests; for recreation; to relax; to pray; to catch up on sleep. Masses will be available during this time on a limited basis. Masses will be as usual on Monday. The closest Masses for our parish on Tues & Wed will be at Pink Sisters at 7am or Sacred heart at 8:15am. St. Teresa’s will have a 6pm Mass on Thurs, May 30th. Please see the bulletin insert for a complete list of Mass locations and times. In case of an emergency, please call 402-915-1206. This number will be in service from Monday Noon – Thursday 3:00pm.

Eucharistic Adoration Opportunities

With busy vacation schedules and kids out of school, we have more open slots for adoration. Please consider signing up for an hour this summer! Students can earn service hours for taking an hour, too! Or, if you have a student who would be willing to be a sub, please reach out to Ron Zimmer and let him know. We need more subs during the summer.

Pink Sisters Vocation Holy Hour

All are welcome to join the Pink Sisters as they pray for vocations at their Vocation Holy Hour on Fri, June 7th at 7:15pm in the Pink Sisters’ Chapel. The Seminarians will lead the singing.

Weed-Pulling Volunteers

Our parish is in need of individuals to help pull weeds to keep our grounds looking beautiful. We have broken up the grounds into smaller sections to enable more people to participate. Calvary Cemetery Memorial Day Mass

All are welcome to join Bishop Conley for a Mass at Calvary Cemetery on Memorial Day, Mon, May 27th at 10am at the round-about. This Mass is especially said for all military service members and all souls buried in the cemetery.

St. Teresa School Lunch Assistant

Totus Tuus for our Parish will be June 16-21. The High School Program will run the evenings of Sun, June 16– Thurs, June 20. The Elementary Program will run daytime Mon-Fri, June 17-21. We are in need of volunteers for: Supervision at Morning Break 10am and Lunch & Recess 12:10pm; Nut-Free Cookies each day; Sack Lunches for Totus Tuus Team; Sack Dinners for Team; Families to Host the Men & Women Team Members; Provide 1 large bag of ice to Kaczmarek Hall each day. Outdoor Movie Night

Marriage on Mission and the School Family Association is sponsoring an Outdoor Movie Night on Thurs, May 23rd in the school parking lot. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

All are invited to attend the retreat-like adult formation at St. Peter Parish for CGS, July 14-19, 2024. The course focuses on the most essential aspects of liturgy & scripture for young children & how adults can learn to listen to God with them. Altar Society Prayer Line

St. Joseph School: is seeking a qualified and energetic Beyond the Bell Director for their after-school enrichment program, for the 2024-2025 school year. The director must be at least 19 years of age, of good moral character, and must meet one of the following requirements: associated or bachelor’s degree in either early childhood education, education of child/youth development or equivalent experience, and certification within these areas. Qualities needed include: love for and experience with supervision of children, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to further th emission of St. Joseph School. Camp Kateri Tekakwitha 2024 Sky Camp Counselors Needed!

Camp Kateri is seeking camp counselors (students currently in grades 9-12). Our program staff and high school counselors are the foundation of our camps. Counselor will lead campers through activities, faith conversations, & reflections. Your role is to make camp a safe & adventurous place for kids to play outdoors & grow closer to God.
