 RCIA: Why Do I Need the Church?

  Bishop’s Appeal for Vocations

St. Teresa Parish’s goal for this year is $23,430. We currently have pledged $22,405. Remaining needed to be pledged/donated is $1,025. Please give generously to support our diocesan seminarians. St. Teresa Parish will be assessed by the Diocese for any amount short of our goal.

 Marriage on Mission Date Night

Marriage on Mission invites all married or engages couples to a date night event on Nov 18th, 7-8:30pm. Fr. Kipper will be speaking about the domestic church followed by refreshments & fellowship. Altar Relics

As Fr. Kipper mentioned in his All Saint’s Day homily, we have recently discovered the names of the martyrs whose relics are in the altar stones placed within the altars at St. Teresa Church: Sts. Honestus, Fulgentius, Speciosus, Amantia. The letter from Bishop Kucera was an email attachment with the bulletin that went out on Thursday.

Book of the Names of the Dead

November is the month of All Souls. All are welcome to write the names of your departed loved ones in the parish, Book of the Names of the Dead, found on the podium next to the baptismal font.

All Souls Remembrances

Those who wish for their departed loved ones to be remembered at Masses during the month of November should write the names on the special envelopes (from envelope packets) which will be kept on the altar during November. Monetary offerings included in the envelopes will be used for Masses for the Faithful Departed.

 

Altar Society Women’s Event

All women of the parish are invited to a guided tour of Catholic Social Services on Wed, Nov 15th, 7-8pm. Bring a friend and meet at CSS front door. Please bring food items for the CSS Food Pantry. Needed items: Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Sugar, Dried Beans, & Juice.

 

St. Teresa Parish Bazaar
