Trout in the Classroom
Mrs. Stewart, Jr. High Science Teacher at St. Joseph, Lincoln, will be providing an exciting learning opportunity for her classes where students will learn about the complete life cycle of trout from eggs to fingerlings to release into a stream. A partial grant is covering the project’s supplies, but St. Joseph’s is in need of a 40-50 gallon aquarium for use from January-May. Eucharistic Revival Choral Production
Singers from around the diocese, directed by Amy Flamminio and joined with a string quartet, a brass quintet, and the Cathedral organ, will be performing Give Glory to God at the Cathedral on Nov 20, 7:30pm. The concert will be performed in conjunctions with the Diocesan Eucharistic Revival and in celebration of Bishop Conley’s 10th anniversary as Bishop of Lincoln. Some of the music to be performed will be: Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi, Cry Out With Joy by Kevin Hanrahan, Ave Verum Corpus by William Byrd, and Gloucester Service: Magnificat by Herbert Howells. Come and enjoy this beautiful music, participate in our diocese’s Eucharistic Revival, and help celebrate our Bishop’s tenth Anniversary!
World Youth Day 2023
The dates for the next World Youth Day in Portugal have been announced, and our diocesan trip is ready to start taking registrations!
