Introduction to the Devout Life

Are you looking to reinvigorate your spiritual life in preparation for Christmas? Join Fr. Schwenka as we go through St. Francis De Sales great work Introduction to the Devout Life, each Sunday of Advent, Nov 27th-Dec 18th,  7:30-8:30pm in Kaczmarek Hall. You need not to have read the book to attend!

Eucharistic Adoration

Spend time with our Eucharistic Lord this Advent. Our new session of adoration will run from Nov 27th-Dec 23rd. What a great way to deepen your Advent Season! Bishop’s Annual Appeal for Vocations

St. Teresa Parish’s goal for this year is $25,060. As of Nov 21st, we have  pledged $22,231. Balance needed: $2,289. Last day for pledges to be counted towards our goal is Nov 28th. Go online to https://lincolndiocese.aware3.net/give/ to make a pledge. Payments on pledges need to be completed by January 31, 2023

Holy Hour for Vocations

Holy Hour for Vocations will be held at the Pink Sisters’ Chapel, 1040 S Cotner Blvd, on Fri, Dec 2nd at 7:15pm. The Newman Center Choir will lead the singing.

Men’s Advent Study

Men of the Parish are invited to join us on Thursdays (Dec 1, 8, 15, 22) in Advent. After the 6:30am Mass, we will gather in Kaczmarek Hall 7-8am to read and discuss Advent readings, share coffee, donuts, and fruit. For more information, contact Patrick Callahan at pcallahan5@unl.edu.

Knights of Columbus 2022 Christmas Party

The Fitzgerald Council Knights of Columbus invited you and a guest to our 2022 Christmas Party on Sat, Dec 10th at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 6044 South Street. Social hour begins at 6:00pm. Altar Society Prayer Line

An Altar Society Prayer Line has been established to lift up our prayers to God as a parish community. Child-Friendly Advent Holy Hour

Let the little children come: even the noisy ones! Join us for a family-friendly holy hour at John XXIII Diocesan Center (3700 Sheridan Blvd) from 3:30-4:30 pm on Sun, Dec 11th. Confessions will be available, a short reflection on Advent for the families, some music, some silence(ish), and hot cocoa to follow! No registration required.

Grief and the Holidays”

Join Sandy Danek, founder of Healing Hearts Grief Ministry, on Dec 1, 7pm at the Harbor Coffeehouse, Piedmont Shoppes. Sandy will explore “Grief & the Holidays from a Catholic perspective. Open to anyone who has experienced a loss of a loved one, is suffering from infertility or miscarriage, or for those who want to know how to better support a loved one experiencing grief. World Youth Day 2023
