Date Night: Salsa Tasting and “Speed Dating”

All married or engaged couples are invited to Date Night: Salsa Tasting & “Speed  Dating” on Sat, May 6th, 6-8pm. The evening included “speed dating” activity to get to know other couples & dinner from Agave. Optional BYOB (alcohol permitted). Babysitting is provided in the gym. Join us for music, confession, & adoration of our Eucharistic Lord at the Freedom & Glory Confirmation Vigil Holy Hour on Fri, April 14th, 7-8pm in the school gym.

A Tribute to the Armed Forces

All are invited to St. Teresa School Spring Music Concert: A Tribute to the Armed Forces on Thurs, April 27th, 7pm, in the front of the school. Please bring your own lawn chair. In case of inclement weather, a postponement will be announced on our school Facebook page by 5pm. Rain date will be Wed, May 3rd. Feel free to invite friends, relatives, neighbors, and past & present members of the armed forces.

 

St. Teresa Pre-Kindergarten

Enrollment is open to all students turning 4 by July 31, 2023 for Pre-Kindergarten classes. Available sessions: Mon-Fri: 8-11am & 12:15-3:15pm. Tours available by appointment. Contact the school office at 402-477-3358 or TAEL-AA@cdolinc.net for more information or to register.

Grand Group

Please join us for a wonderful springtime event—an afternoon of vocal music provided by students from St. Teresa’s School under the direction of Mrs. Schilmoeller. NOTE—This event is on a different day and at a different time and place than usual: Kaczmarek Hall, 1:30pm on Tues, April 18th.  We will have an elevator operator so that we’ll all get downstairs and back safely!

St. Teresa Parish CSS Food Drive

Don’t forget to bring in your food donations for CSS. They can be placed in the vestibule of the church or in the cabinets by the choir loft door. Donations will be picked up weekly.

Prodigal Prayer Intention Sheets

More intention sheets are available if you want to write intentions for fallen-away family members or friends. Place your intention in the box in the vestibule of the church. Sheets are available at the exits of the church.

S.T.A.G.E

 

STAGE Workshop: STAGE will be offering a One-Day Workshop, “Let’s Face It” on Sat, April 11, 10am-2pm. Students, ages 10-15, can learn about Theatre Make Up and its application. We will create aging effects, animal, and fun character faces. Supplies provided.

STAGE Auditions: April 27-30 for the summer musical, “The Princess & the Mustard Seed”, a fun twist on fairy tale characters who learn the value of faith, the size of a mustard seed. Ages & up. Great roles for teens and those with dance background. Performances: June 23-25 & June 30-July 2.

Swing Dance Nights

Swing Dance Nights, instructed by Jeff & Hannah Rutledge, will be held in the school gym from 7-8:30pm Admission is free!

Men’s Basketball

Altar Society Prayer Line

An Altar Society Prayer Line has been established to lift up our prayers to God as a parish community. Leva Orationes Deo is Latin for lift up prayers to God.  Requests can be made by e-mailing  levaorationesdeo@yahoo.com or by calling (the first caller on the list) Mary Pat McBride at 402-314-1296. CK Sisters Outdoor Workday

Sat, May 6, 1:30-4:30pm: We will be planting our vegetable garden, cleaning up flower beds, mulching & cutting trees.
