April 21, 2022: Weekend Update

Christ is risen! Alleluia!

Dear St. Teresa Parishioners,

Happy Easter! If you haven’t been feasting during this Octave, it’s not too late to start! If you were away for Easter, be sure to stop into the church. It is beautifully decorated to celebrate our Risen Lord. The short of it: plan on attending the Divine Mercy Holy Hour on Sunday (the 24th) at 3pm. There will be Praise & Worship parish holy hours on four Wednesdays leading up to the Ascension. Details are below. Remember to pray for our first Holy Communicants—they will receive the Eucharist for the first time on Saturday morning.

May God bless you!

Parish Holy Hour

Friday, April 22nd | 6:30-7:30pm

Come and praise Our Risen King. Invoke his grace upon the sons and daughters receiving first Holy Communion.

Thank You!

Thank you to all who worked so hard to make our parish and grounds beautiful in anticipation of Easter. Men’s Club cleaned up the grounds. Several crews of volunteers deep-cleaned the interior of the church. The care and attention to  detail is evident all over our campus.

Thanks in advance to the servers, acolytes, lectors, ushers, choirs, musicians, those who will arrange flowers, palms, and candles, cleaned, and all who will contribute to the beauty of the parish and liturgy in order to make our Holy Week and Easter beautiful!

Thank you, Rex, and Farewell!

We bid a fond farewell to our Facilities Manager, Rex Mulholland, who will be training bus drivers for LPS. Rex has served our parish for seven years, repairing and maintaining everything, supervising projects, and keeping our whole campus safe and secure. There is no way to thank him adequately for the cheerful and dedicated service he has  provided Saint Teresa. This is a better place because of his hard work. We wish him the best in his new job!

It seems an impossible task to replace Rex Mulholland, but we must try!
