Charity & Stewardship Appeal

Please prayerfully consider giving to CSA, an annual diocesan appeal to support many ministries including Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House, Catholic Social Services, The Tribunal, Family Life Office, and others.

Our parish goal for CSA is $72,430. We will receive 80% of this as a rebate. All funds in excess of our goal will be returned to us. Thank you for your generosity.

Confraternity of Christian Mothers

The Confraternity of Christian Mother’s invites all moms to the Mother’s Day weekend brunch on Sat, May 12th following the 8:15am Mass and prayers. This event, hosted by the Men’s Club, will be held in the school cafeteria. CSS Food Market

CSS Food Market will be in front of school on Wed, May 10th starting at 3pm. All are welcome to come and pick up a bag of food!

Teaching Assistant (Para) Needed

St. Teresa School is seeking an individual to fill a part-time (about 20 hours/week) Teaching Assistant position, 9am-2 or 3pm for 2-3 days per week and an average of a day or two of subbing/week when school is in session. More details, email Sr. Mary-Michael@cdolinc.net.

St. Teresa School Dairy Queen Event

Support St. Teresa School one final time this school year on May 10th at Dairy Queen on 38th & South Streets. 15% of all sales from 5-8pm will benefit the school.

St. Teresa Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

Enrollment is open to all students turning 4 by July 31, 2023 for Pre-Kindergarten classes and students turning 5 by July 31, 2023 for Kindergarten. St. Teresa Parishioners help provide and serve food at Matt Talbot Kitchen on the third Wednesday evening each month. They are in need of more volunteers to help with this Act of Mercy: to Feed the Hungry. Prodigal Prayer Intention Sheets

More intention sheets are available if you want to write intentions for fallen-away family members or friends. Place your intention in the box in the vestibule of the church. Sheets are available at the exits of the church.

Men’s Basketball

An Altar Society Prayer Line has been established to lift up our prayers to God as a parish community. Leva Orationes Deo is Latin for lift up prayers to God.  Requests can be made by e-mailing  levaorationesdeo@yahoo.com or by calling (the first caller on the list) Mary Pat McBride at 402-314-1296.  Sidewalk Advocacy Training

Learn how to be the hands & feet of Christ, offering loving, life-affirming alternatives to all present at Planned Parenthood of Lincoln, thereby eliminating the demand and ending abortion in Lincoln. Rosary Rally

A Rosary Rally at St. Mary’s, 14th & K, will be Sat, May 13th, starting at 10am! We had so many positive responses to the Marian Morning of Meditation that we are combining it with our Rosary Rally in honor of Our Lady of Fatima. We will be offering a Rosary for the USA at 10am in front of the school’s Mary Statue. WE will process from there to circle the capitol building, stopping at various points to offer special prayers for our country. We will return to the church for Exposition of the Holy Eucharist followed by the 12:10pm Mass.

Catholic Artist Guild Meeting

The Catholic Artist Guild invites all artist of the Lincoln Diocese to join us for our next general meeting at 1pm on Sat, April 29th in Resurrection Hall, St. Joseph Church.
