St. Teresa Parish Silent Auction

The Silent Auction is a large part of our annual Parish Bazaar and we need your help to make it a success! All the proceeds go back into the parish & school for various projects & needs. Bazaar Raffle Tickets

The Bazaar Raffle Tickets are ready to be picked up and sold. They can be found at all the church exits. Early Bird date for sold books of tickets is Nov 3rd. Tickets can be put in the collection basket or dropped off at the rectory. Make sure to include all the ticket stubs, the Early Bird stub (if by the deadline) and payment in an envelope.

PCCW Women’s Event

In this month of October, dedicated to the Rosary, please join us for an inspirational talk by former parishioner, Hannah (Schinkel) Beckman, Oct 17th, 7pm in Kaczmarek Hall. Refreshments provided.

Knights Tootsie Roll Drive

The Knights of Columbus will be at all the exits of the church collecting donations for the annual Tootsie Roll Drive on following all Masses, Oct 19 & 20th. This drive supports the work of the Marian Sisters at Villa Marie School. Any donations accepted.

Knights & Guests Tailgate

The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a tailgate at the Knights of Columbus Hall (6044 South St) on Sat, Oct 19th, for the Huskers vs Indiana and on Sat, Nov 16th for the Huskers vs USC Games. October Diaper Drive

St. Teresa PCCW is participating in the October Diaper Drive. Donated diapers can be dropped off in the vestibule of the church throughout the month of October. Sizes 5 & 6 are most needed. Monetary donations may be dropped off at the rectory. Thank you for your generosity!

Grand Group

Join us for a Rosary with the Bishop on Fri, Oct 18th. Meet in the church parking lot at 12:30pm where we will carpool to the Chancery. Besides praying the Rosary, we will learn about the work & responsibilities of a Bishop as well as hearing highlights from some of his travels experiences.  Sr. Patricia, responsible for the archives, will explain about the information that is recorded and stored.

Bishop’s Appeal for Vocations

St. Teresa Parish’s goal for our Bishop’s Appeal for Vocations is $25,600. We currently have pledged $5,895. Please give generously to support our diocesan seminarians, especially our own, Jonathan Andreasen and Charles Kotopka. Pledge cards are in the vestibule on the shelf under the windows.

St. Teresa Trunk or Treat

St. Teresa School Family is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat on Fri, Oct 25th, 6:30-9pm at the school parking lot. Any parish group or individual interesting in creating a Trunk, contact Megan Knievel at meknievel@hotmail.com or Sarah Schinstock at sarah.schinstock@gmail.com. We need your help to make this a success for our children. Bring your family to a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All are welcome! Back from the Dead Cemetery Walk

Back from the Dead Cemetery Walk will be Oct 23,25,26,27 & Nov 1 at Calvary Cemetery. Experience faith in the cemetery as you encounter martyrs, saints, & others who have come back from the dead to relay their stories about “The Last Things.” This is a living catechesis based on the Catholic Faith, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, & the living tradition of the saints. OUTDOORS in the DARK on Oct 23,25,26, & 27 for a half-mile walk departing with a guide at 6:15pm, 6:30pm, 6:45pm, 7pm, & 7:15pm OR INDOORS (No Walking) on Nov 1 at 2pm. Participants should be 15 years or older. The Event is free but you must have a ticket to attend. Please email cherylwinter@windstream.net to reserve your departure time.

St. John’s Craft Fair

St. John’s, Lincoln, 38th Annual Craft Fair is Sat, Nov 9th, 9am-3pm with 120 tables full of handmade crafts, plus other vendors. A concession stand with homemade sloppy joes, chips, desserts & drinks will also be available. Stay & enjoy lunch with us or take it to go.

The Lincoln/Omaha Secular Carmelite Community invites you to learn more about the Secular Carmelites at a Day of Recollection on Sat, Oct 19th from 9am-2:30pm at St. Teresa Church.
