All Saints Day Holy Day of Obligation

All Saints Day is Tuesday, November 1st and is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times are as follows: Mon, Oct 31st: 5:30pm; Tues, Nov 1st: 6:30am, 8:15am, and 6:30pm. Pink Sisters Mass is closed to the public on Holy Days of Obligations.


All kids are welcome to come trick-or-treating on Halloween at the convent and rectory on from 6:30-8:00pm. We can’t wait to see all your creative costumes!

Pink Sisters Holy Hour

All are invited to join the Pinks Sisters for their First Friday Holy Hour for Vocations at their chapel at 1040 S. Cotner Blvd on Friday, Nov 4th beginning at 7:15pm. The Marian Sisters will be leading the singing. Please come and pray for vocations!


Bishop’s Annual Appeal for Vocations

St. Teresa Parish’s goal for this year is $25,060. We currently have pledged $7,856. Please give generously to support our diocesan seminarians, especially our own, Jonah Brox and Paul Mach! Pledge cards were mailed last week.

Parish Bazaar

Our Parish Bazaar will be held Sun, Nov 13th. Be watching for your opportunity to pick up raffle tickets to sell or purchase and the chance to bid on some of our many items on the Silent Auction. Parish Bazaar Raffle Tickets

Don’t forget to pick up your raffle tickets, located at the exits of the church! The raffle is a large part of the success of our Bazaar. To meet our goal, we are counting on every household to sell at least 3-4 books of tickets.  Thank you for purchasing and selling tickets to family and friends. Walk the Little Way

St. Teresa School annual fundraiser, Walk the Little Way is still accepting donations to fund classroom renovations and the addition of green space to the exterior of the school.  100% of donations go directly to the school. Pumpkin Festival

Knights of Columbus is hosting a Pumpkin Festival at their hall, 6044 South St on Sunday, Oct 30th, 2-5pm. St. Teresa Thrift Shop will be hosting their annual Christmas Boutique on Fri & Sat, Oct 28th & 29th from 9am-5pm each day at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 6044 South St. You can find Christmas decorations, linens, tins, trees, nativities, and much more! Bring a friend and enjoy an hour of Christmas shopping at our Annual Christmas Boutique!

Altar Society Diaper Drive

An Altar Society Prayer Line has been established to lift up our prayers to God as a parish community. Eucharistic Revival Choral Production

Singers from around the diocese, directed by Amy Flamminio and joined with a string quartet, a brass quintet, and the Cathedral organ, will be performing Give Glory to God at the Cathedral on Nov 20, 7:30pm. The concert will be performed in conjunctions with the Diocesan Eucharistic Revival and in celebration of Bishop Conley’s 10th anniversary as Bishop of Lincoln. Some of the music to be performed will be: Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi, Cry Out With Joy by Kevin Hanrahan, Ave Verum Corpus by William Byrd, and Gloucester Service: Magnificat by Herbert Howells. Come and enjoy this beautiful music, participate in our diocese’s Eucharistic Revival, and help celebrate our Bishop’s tenth Anniversary!


World Youth Day 2023

Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreats The schedule of retreats for Fall 2022 has been released and is available on the Retreat center’s website HERE. Remember that for St. Teresa parishioners, Men’s Club or Altar Society will pay for half of a standard retreat per year!
