Immaculate Conception: Holy Day of Obligation

Friday, Dec 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. All Catholics are bound to attend Mass on Holy Days of Obligation. Mass times: Thurs, Dec 7th at 5:30pm, Fri Dec 8th at 6:30 & 8:15am, 6:30pm. Mass will be celebrated privately for the Pink Sisters. The chapel will open at 8am.

RCIA: The Sacraments: Baptism and Confirmation

All are welcome to join in the RCIA class on Mon, Dec 12th from 7-8:30pm in Kaczmarek Hall. Our topic will be “The Sacraments: Baptism and Confirmation” taught by Fr. Kipper.

Voices Invited to Sing at Midnight Mass

All are welcome to join the choir at the Midnight Mass on Christmas! There will be one practice from 7:30-9pm in the choir loft on Thursday, Dec. 21st. Anyone attending Midnight Mass is invited to come early for preludes beginning a half hour before Mass.

 

Christmas Mass & Confession Times

Confessions in preparation for Christmas will be 1/2 hour before the daily Masses M-Sat; Saturdays from 3-4pm & 5-5:30pm; Sat, Dec 16th from 10-11am; & during the Advent Holy Hours. Christmas Mass times: Sun, Dec 24th: 4pm; Mon, Dec 25th: Midnight, 8am, 10am & Noon.

Christmas Decorating

Men’s Club invites workers to help decorate inside the church at 1pm on Dec. 17th. We will transport & assemble heavy boxes of trees, hang lights & wreaths. It’s well worth the effort once you see the results. No experience needed!

Don’t forget to use Scrip for all your holiday giving needs! Gift cards make the perfect gifts for teachers, friends, & all your hard-to-shop-for family members. The CSS Food Market will be in the front of the school on Tues, Dec 12th, beginning at 3pm. All are invited to come and get a bag of food!

St. Teresa Vocal Concert

All are welcome to attend the St. Teresa Vocal Concert presented by the 5th-8th graders. Ancient Christmas Music will be Dec 14th, at 7pm in the Church. Prelude by String students at 6:40pm.

Early Dismissal & No School

There will be a 1pm school dismissal on Thurs, Dec 7th for a Staff Meeting. There will be no school on Fri, Dec 8th in celebration of the Immaculate Conception.

Adoration for Advent

Advent is a great time to start Eucharistic Adoration; it’s a short session, so if you find it doesn’t work for your schedule, you can remove your name at the end of the session. Many people discover that they love spending quiet time with Jesus & continue into the new year. We have quite a few open hours; please consider signing up for one! Advent Giving Wreaths

Advent Giving Wreaths can be found hanging in the vestibule of the church. There are 5 different organization that you can choose to donate to with gifts or monetary donations. Please place the giving tag you selected on the gift you purchased and place in the vestibule. Do not wrap the gift. Any monetary donations, please place in an envelope with the tag and place in the rectory drop slot next to the rectory door.  Please bring any items/donations by the end of the day on Sun, Dec. 17th. All items will be delivered on Mon, Dec 18th.

Advent Holy Hours

Advent Holy Hours with a reflection by a the St. Teresa priest will be celebrated on Sun, Dec 10th and Sun, Dec 17th from 7-8pm. All are welcome to come and enjoy the season of Advent with Jesus.

St. Teresa Trivia Night

St. Teresa Trivia Night will be on Sat, Jan 13th at Pius X High School Commons. Come at 6pm for social hour and to set up your table. Holy Innocents Mass

Pius X Dance Team Kiddie Camp

The Pius X Thunderettes are hosting a fun-filled dance camp for grades PreK-5th! The kids will learn one dance in their age group and one dance as one big group. There will be games and snacks! Eucharistic Revival Holy Hours
